The Housing Options Service (HOPS) High Peak
Welcome to the Housing Options website for the High Peak.
Age Concern Derby & Derbyshire operate a Housing Options Service for the Derbyshire Dales area from the Derbyshire Dales District Council offices in Matlock. This website is designed to offer a similar service for residents of the High Peak area. It aims to provide information, advice and support to people who are finding that their present accommodation is no longer suitable for their current needs. It provides information to help people look at options that are available to them to remain living independently, to enhance their quality of life, and to decide what action to take.
How to Use the Website
Each chapter has an introduction, which you should read the first time you use that chapter. Each section's contacts are contained within the relevant section of the Contacts chapter.
We have included a Jargon Buster in the Other Services chapter to help you with any technical language you may come across in the information you may read. To go to the Age Concern England factsheets click here.

How has the Housing Options Service helped other people?
Mr & Mrs X contacted the service and were awarded an extra £200 per week in entitlements.
Mrs Y didn’t think she would like any of the housing she was being offered, until she visited with an Age Concern Housing Options Adviser. She moved in and she loves it!
